The twists and turns in the case pertaining to the obscene videos supposedly featuring the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate from Hassan Prajwal Revanna seem to be never ending. Another major leader’s name has surfaced with regard to an accusation of having a role in sharing the videos.
This accusation was made by an individual named Naveen Gowda. “On 20th April, I found a pendrive on a road. I handed it over to A.Manju, the Member of Legislative Assembly from Arkalgud on April 21st. The ‘Mahanayaka’ mentioned by Kumaraswamy might be the legislator from Arkalgud,” he stated in a post on the social media platform Facebook. A.Manju is a member of the Janata Dal Secular (JD(S)).

Naveen Gowda is one of the suspects as far as distribution of the pen drives is concerned. He belongs to the Belur Taluk of the Hassan district. He had made a Facebook at a time corresponding with the release of videos. He urged people to join a WhatsApp channel to procure the videos. JD(S) representatives had taken a screenshot of the post and submitted a complaint to the Police Department. Naveen is believed to have deleted his account after his posts were widely circulated.
