Prajwal Revanna, who has been embroiled in controversy due to an ongoing case involving accusations of rape and sexual assault following the circulation of an obscene video, faced a significant defeat. The voters of Hassan decisively turned to the Congress, propelling Patel to a landslide victory.

By the conclusion of the 16th round of counting, Shreyas Patel was leading with a substantial margin, securing 632,090 votes compared to Revanna’s 589,829. This resulted in a lead of 42,261 votes for Patel.
As the final rounds of counting concluded, Patel’s victory margin stood at 34,129 votes, a clear indication of the electorate’s preference for change.
