Dr C.N Manjunath stopped his car to provide medical aid

Injured persons were later taken to a hospital

The newly elected Member of Parliament (MP) from the Bengaluru Rural constituency Dr C.N Manjunath provided first-aid treatment to a person injured in a road accident. He is being praised for upholding values of humanity. The incident occurred on the Kanakapura-Sathanur Road. The accident occurred while Dr C.N Manjunath was travelling by the same path.

He stopped his car to provide medical aid to examine the condition of the injured individuals.  He then administered medical first-aid to the injured persons. They were later taken to a hospital. He advised the doctors to provide the apt treatment for the patients. NewsFirst accessed videos wherein Dr C.N Mannjunath is seen providing first-aid to the injured persons.

Dr C.N Manjunath contested from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. He received 1079002 votes as opposed to D.K Suresh from the Indian National Congress (INC) who received 809355 votes.

Dr C.N Manjunath served as the director of the Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research from 2006. He is known for his expertise in the field of medicine. There were speculations that he may be handed the Health Ministry. However, J.P Nadda who served as the BJP President was handed the post.
