Sandalwood actor Darshan also referred to as the Challenging Star, actress Pavithra Gowda and 3 others have been arrested in connection to the investigation of Renukaswamy’s murder. 4 of the accused have been shifted to the Tumakuru prison. Pavithra Gowda who has been named as Accused Number 1 in the case was visited in the jail by her family members. She was given a bag during their interaction.

On June 25th, Darshan’s wife Vijayalakshmi and son Vinish met him in jail. The visit of the family members of Pavithra occurred in close proximity. The bag is reported to have contained many items. Pavithra apparently called up her family members requesting them to bring these items.

The family members entered the premises of the jail to handover the bag to her. There are speculations that the bag contains clothes and a make up set. Pavithra Gowda’s daughter Kushi Gowda was accompanied by Pavithra Gowda’s parents during her visit to the jail. Pavithra’s mother is said to have offered words instilling courage in her. Earlier Pavithra’s brother had visited her. He even had a heated exchange of words with cameramen stationed outside the premises of the jail. He had covered his face with a mask during his subsequent visit.
