Prajwal Revanna is accused of rape

Suraj Revanna is accused of sodomy

Both brothers have been housed in the same jail

While Prajwal Revanna has been in judicial custody for rape charges, now his brother Suraj Revanna has also  been in the same jail, same cell over sodomy charges. Both the brothers have been spending time for the last 2 days, reading papers and discussing developments in the outside world.

In the adjacent cell, that is cell number 11, accused in the bitcoin case Sriki and gang have been housed. While the two brothers face each other as they walk in the common path, sources add that the two keep safe distance from them. 

Just before the general elections, sleazy videos of Prajwal Revanna were released in the public domain. As they  became viral, he flew instantly to Germany where he ensconced himself for well over a month. As he flew back to Bengaluru, he was arrested. 

On the other hand, his younger brother Suraj Revanna is accused of sodomising a JD(S) worker and threatening him to remain quiet by offering Rs 2 crore to him. But the worker lodged a police complaint, after which he was arrested. 

Incidentally, Prajwal Revanna was an MP from Hassan at the time of the incident and Suraj is an MLC in the Karnataka Legislative Council.
