Shivashankar was spotted alongside Darshan at Stonny Brook
The investigation pertaining to the murder of Renukaswamy is taking place at a rapid pace. Reports indicate that the investigation is in its final stages.
The statements of the witnesses have been taken in accordance with Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC). The police are making arrangements to note down the statement of another Sandalwood actor who is reported to have shared a table with Darshan at the Stonny Brook Restaurant. This actor has been identified as Shivashankar. Shivashankar was featured in the Yograj Bhatt-directorial ‘Garadi’ that released on November 10th.
Earlie, Sandalwood actor Chikkanna was also enquired by the police about his interaction with Darshan on the day of the murder. He too was spotted alongside Darshan at the restaurant on that day. Chikkannna was called to a Police Station in this regard. Shivashankar is believed to have been present along with Darshan and Chikkanna on the fateful day. His statement will also be recorded in accordance with Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC).
It should however be noted that neither of these actors are said to have any direct links to what had transpired. Their statements might however throw light on the frame of mind of Sandalwood actor Darshan at the time when the incident occurred.
