Darshan and Samatha discussed about securing bail for Pavithra

Sandalwood actor Darshan also referred to as the Challenging Star met with Samatha, who is considered to be a good friend of actress Pavithra Gowda at the Parappana Agrahara prison. Reports indicate that the discussion was around the topic of procuring bail for Pavithra. The meeting is believed to have lasted for a period of 15 minutes. This has however resulted in disappointment for another one of Darshan’s close aides. Actor Dhanveer was unable to meet Darshan due to his meeting Sumatha. 

Sumatha made an entry at the gates of the Parappana Agrahara Prison before meeting Darshan. Their meeting has become a subject of interest for many. There is curiosity with regard to the intention and outcome of the meeting. With several people lining up to meet Darshan in prison, allegations of rules being flouted to arrange for the meetings are being made. There are apprehensions being cast on whether Darshan is getting preferential treatment.

On holidays, there is no provision in jails to meet outsiders. It is contingent on approval from jail authorities. Such meetings can only take place on 2 days throughout the week. Unforeseen circumstances can lead to a relaxation of these rules. Lawyers have the scope to meet their clients inside the prison.
