What is deepfake?
A deepfake, in simple terms, is a phony video in which the face of a person is morphed with someone else’s or their voice, altered with someone else’s in an audio file.
Deepfake is a portmanteau of ‘deep learning’ and ‘fake’.
Its usage, apart from manipulating things on videos, can also be stretched to creating fake news, financial corruption among others.
