The most controversial movie, ‘The Kerala Story’ starring Adah Sharma is gearing up for its debut on the digital platform. The much-anticipated film is scheduled to premiere on ZEE5 on February 16, the OTT platform said on social media.
The movie was released last year in theatres on May 5. Since then, there was no news about its OTT release. The movie had landed in a huge controversy prior to its release, as the makers stated that the movie is a depiction of real-life events. It showcases the journey of young women who find themselves ensnared in a web of manipulation orchestrated by their roommate.
Adah Sharma portrays the role of Shalini Unnikrishnan, who is coaxed into changing her faith and adopting a new name, Fatima.
