Indian billionaire industrialist and Chairman of the Adani Group, Gautam Adani has moved past Chairman and Managing Director of the Reliance Group Mukesh Ambani in the Bloomberg Billionaires list. Adani currently occupies the 12th spot at a global stage. His total net worth is 97.6 billion dollars. There has been a positive change of 7.67 billion dollars in comparison to the previous evaluation. Mukesh Ambani currently occupies the 13th position with a net worth of 97 billion dollars. Shapoor Mistry with a net worth of 34.96 billion dollars and Shiv Nadar with a net worth of 33 billion dollars are the two other Indians featured among the 50 richest billionaires. 

The net increase for the year of 2024 for Adani has been 13.3 billion dollars which is the highest for anyone in the list. Mukesh Ambani’s net increase has been less than 1 billion dollars. 

Adani was the fourth richest billionaire in the world before the Hindenburg report against him surfaced. Charges of stock manipulation and accounting fraud were levied on Adani. The Supreme Court asked the Securities and Exchanges Board of India. The Supreme Court refusing to transfer the investigation to the Special Investigation Team resulted in some stocks of Adani being traded at a higher price.
