Adivi Sesh and Shruti Haasan are set to collaborate in an upcoming pan-India action drama, as revealed by the makers on Tuesday. The film will be filmed concurrently in both Hindi and Telugu languages.
The upcoming film is yet to reveal its title. It will be Adivi Sesh’s second consecutive Hindi project following his well-received biopic Major (2022). Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the movie portrayed Adivi in the role of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan.
The film is directed by Shaneil Deo, presented by Annapoorna studios, and produced by Supriya Yarlagadda
In a statement, the creators confirmed that each frame, dialogue, and scene of the film is being captured separately in both Hindi and Telugu, tailoring the treatment to align with the cultural nuances of each language.
As per the producers, various elements of the movie, such as character posters and the title, are set to be disclosed “in the upcoming days.” This film will signify the directorial debut of Shaneil, previously renowned as the Director of Photography for notable Telugu blockbusters like Kshanam and Goodachari, both starring Adivi Sesh.
Adivi and Shaneil shared story and screenplay credits. Adivi Sesh commenced filming for Goodachari 2 on Monday, expressing the start with the caption, “It Begins. MASSIVE. This is how we do it,” in his social media post.
