KMF produced 82.09 lakh litres of milk per day last month

The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) has walked into record books as it becomes the only milk production unit in Karnataka to produce the highest amount of milk this year.
As per data available, the KMF produced 82.09 lakh litres of milk per day last month.
With this, it has now produced the highest quantity in the last 5 years.
Last year, it stood at 74.93 lakh litres per day.
For 2021-22, the production stood at 77.96 lakh litres.
For 2019-20, the production stood at 69.03 lakh litres.
Also, one should note that the KMF has attained these numbers when the state is reeling under the effects of drought.
It has now set itself a target of producing 1 crore litres of milk in the coming days.
