Amit Shah visits Karnataka for the first time since state election defeat in 2023

    Amit Shah arrived in Mysuru on the night of February 10th

    He will visit the Chamundi Hills at 11 AM on February 11th

    Strategy for BJP heading into 2024 Lok Sabha Election may be discussed

Minister of Home Affairs of India Amit Shah visited Karnataka for the first time since the 2023 State Election. He will participate in the Sutturu Fair. His visit will extend for a period of 2 days. He arrived in Mysuru on the night of February 10th. He came via flight to the Mandakalli Airport. He would be staying in the Radisson Blu Hotel. 

He will visit the Chamundi Hills at 11 AM on February 11th. He will participate in special prayers offered to Lord Chamundeshwari. He would then visit the Sutturu village to participate in the fair. He would inaugurate a guest house constructed by Indian National Congress (INC) leader Shamanuru Shivashankarappa. He would return to Mysuru through a helicopter after this. He would then participate in a meeting along with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers for 2 hours. 

Reports suggest that the strategy for the party heading into the 2024 Lok Sabha Election will be discussed in this meeting. The alliance with the Janata Dal (Secular) (JD(S)) and the complaints of the party workers will be discussed in the meeting. Many important leaders of the BJP Karnataka unit will be present for the meeting.
