It was in 2019 that the five-judge bench of the top court, after hearing the matter, awarded that disputed land to Hindus, stressing that the faith of Hindus over the birth of Ram can’t be compromised. At the same time, the top court also awarded a piece of land measuring 5 acres for the Muslims to build a mosque.
