In a significant milestone for Tollywood, actor and politician Nandamuri Balakrishna has completed 50 years in the film industry. Marking the occasion, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu extended his heartfelt congratulations to Balakrishna, who is also his brother-in-law and the MLA for Hindupur.
In an official statement, Mr. Naidu described Balakrishna's five-decade-long career as a remarkable achievement. He recalled the actor's debut in the 1974 film Tatamma Kala, where Balakrishna starred alongside his legendary father, N.T. Rama Rao. Since then, Balakrishna has established himself as a prominent figure in Tollywood, captivating audiences across generations with his versatile acting skills.
“Balakrishna’s ability to connect with the younger generation through his blockbuster films is a testament to his enduring talent,” said Mr. Naidu. “He has not only made a mark in the film industry but has also achieved success in his political career.”
Reflecting on the actor’s contributions, Mr. Naidu expressed his wish for Balakrishna to remain ‘Unstoppable’—a nod to the popular talk show the actor hosts—both in his cinematic and political endeavours.
