In a heartwarming gesture ahead of his mother Shalini’s birthday on September 2, actor Jr NTR embarked on a memorable visit to her hometown, Kundapura, Karnataka. The visit, which also included a stop at the revered Udupi Sri Krishna Matha temple, was made even more special by the presence of Kantara actor Rishab Shetty and Kannada director Prashanth Neel.

Jr NTR took to social media to share moments from the trip, posting pictures on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram.

In his post, he expressed how significant the visit was for him, fulfilling his mother’s long-held dream of bringing him to Kundapura and seeking blessings at the Udupi temple. “To make it happen just before her birthday on September 2nd is the best gift I could give her,” Jr NTR wrote.
The actor also extended his gratitude to producer Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films, Prashanth Neel, and Rishab Shetty for their support in making the trip unforgettable. Rishab Shetty shared his own photos from the visit, including a shot of the group enjoying a meal together, captioned in Kannada: “In the abode of Sri Krishna.”
On the professional front, Jr NTR is gearing up for the release of Devara: Part 1, directed by Koratala Siva, on September 27, and is set to collaborate with Prashanth Neel on an upcoming untitled project.
