    Security measures meticulously put in place at Manekshaw Parade Ground

    Participation of 38 contingents in the grand Republic Day parade

    BTP has appealed for the wholehearted cooperation of the public

Elaborate traffic management and stringent security measures have been meticulously put in place at Manekshaw Parade Ground for tomorrow’s Republic Day ceremonial parade.

A formidable contingent of 1000 policemen will be deployed to ensure the seamless execution of security protocols, overseeing the participation of 38 contingents in the grand Republic Day parade at the Manekshaw Parade Ground. Notably, traffic on Cubbon Road will be temporarily prohibited.

In adherence to guidelines from the traffic police, individuals holding car passes are kindly urged to disembark and park their vehicles at designated locations specified in the passes.

Emergency vehicles, including ambulances, fire tenders, water tankers, KSRP, CRT, BBMP, and PWD vehicles, will access the parade ground through Gate No.2 on Cubbon Road, parking strategically behind the Fort Wall on the Southern side.

Media vehicles and OB vans are directed to enter the parade ground through Gate No.3, parking on the Eastern side. To maintain a heightened level of security, attendees are earnestly requested to refrain from bringing mobile phones, helmets, cameras, radios, umbrellas, or any other equipment to the parade ground, as individuals carrying such items will not be granted entry.
