The murder of Anjali in Hubballi has filled people across Karnataka with outrage. A similar case has come to the forefront from Bengaluru within a day’s time. A youngster was found dead under mysterious circumstances. The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Prabuddha. 

Prabuddha was in her second year in a Pre University Course (PUC) in a private college. Her body was found in the bathroom of her house with the neck having been sliced. The incident occurred during the evening of May 15th. It came to light on May 16th. Prabuddha had attempted suicide on 3 other occasions by slitting her wrists. Reports suggest that Prabuddha slit her wrists and neck at a time when nobody else was at her home. 

Nobody was at home when the incident unfolded. Prabuddha’s mother was outdoors over some work. Prabuddha’s younger brother discovered her body when he reached home. The Subramanyapura Police have filed a case pertaining to death under mysterious circumstances.

Prabuddha’s phone is being examined by the police as part of their investigation. Whether her academic performance caused her death or whether there was another angle to it is being looked into.
