Bengaluru: 34 gold medalists, 27 silver medalists honoured in the CMR University convocation

There was an atmosphere of festivity in a prestigious university in Bengaluru. Students who have worked hard for years were honoured on an auspicious occasion. The happiness of students who received the gold and silver medals knew no bounds. These are all in relation to the convocation ceremony in the CMR University. 

1532 students graduated with 34 students receiving a gold medal and 27 students receiving a silver medal. “We provide all facilities for students to excel. This convocation gives us direction to grow even stronger,” Dr K.C Ramamurthy, Chairman of the CMR University said. 

Padmabhushan awardee Professor P. Balaram graced the convocation with his presence. He talked about the CMR University leading in the domain of research at a national level and emphasised that it has gained recognition at an international  level as well. He stated that the students passing out have added to the knowledge base of the university. The President of the Family Business Research Centre Tatvamasi Dixit was given an honorary doctorate by the university. The Chancellor of the university Dr H.B Raghavendra provided an annual report of the university on this occasion. Other prominent members of the Administrative Board also participated in the function.
