Bengaluru: Actress Hema arrested by CCB amidst high drama

The rave party that was held on the outskirts of Bengaluru resulted in the arrest of Kollywood actress Hema by the Central Crime Branch (CCB). She had not appeared for the enquiry despite 2 notices served in this regard. She appeared in front of the CCB after the third notice was served. 

She was arrested by the CCB in order to conduct a full fledged interrogation. Hema had earlier attempted to misdirect the police by posting a video that she was in Hyderabad while the raid was taking place. She similarly attempted to evade the eyes of the media during her arrest.

She was taken for a medical checkup after her arrest. Her medical check up was scheduled to take place at the K.C General Hospital. She wore a burqa on this occasion. The blood test confirmed the presence of narcotic substances in her body. This was the basis for the notice served to her by CCB. 

She is suspected to have played a key role in organising the party. Her attempt to misdirect the police have also resulted in additional charges being levied on her.
