Aviation enthusiasts have reason to celebrate as Air India announces the introduction of its state-of-the-art Airbus A350 flights, starting from January 22, 2024.

Following the revelation of direct flights connecting Bengaluru to Ayodhya, the airline is set to elevate the travel experience for passengers with the commencement of domestic services using the Airbus A350.

Renowned for its comfort and advanced technology, the Airbus A350 will initially operate routes connecting Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. Bookings for these routes are now open, coinciding with the much-anticipated inauguration of Lord Ram’s temple in Ayodhya on January 22.

The Airbus A350 flights boast a three-class cabin configuration, featuring 28 private Business class suites equipped with flat beds, 24 Premium Economy class seats offering extra legroom and enhanced amenities, and 264 Economy class seats.

Air India’s flight schedule, effective from January 22, includes:

  1. Flight number AI589: A roundabout route from Bengaluru to Mumbai, Mumbai to Chennai, and Chennai to Bengaluru, operating every day except Tuesdays.
  2. Flight number AI587: Starting from Bengaluru, this flight will travel to Chennai, then to Hyderabad, and back to Bengaluru on all days except Tuesdays.
  3. Flight numbers AI868 and AI869: Connecting Bengaluru to Delhi and vice versa, exclusively on Tuesdays.

In addition to the introduction of the Airbus A350, Air India has recently undergone a comprehensive rebranding, featuring new uniforms for pilots and cabin crew, designed by the renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra.
