Banashankari Temple, a revered landmark in Bengaluru, has taken a significant leap towards modernization by integrating advanced technology to improve the worship experience for devotees. Known for its progressive efforts, the temple recently introduced an online platform to provide service information, but it hasn’t stopped there.

In a bid to further streamline temple services, Banashankari Temple has implemented a new plan that eliminates the need for devotees to stand in long queues for rituals such as Archana, Abhishek, and Vahan Puja. This innovative approach allows worshippers to obtain receipts and tokens directly, saving valuable time and effort.

The temple’s latest initiative involves the installation of self-service kiosks, enabling devotees to print receipts for various services on their own. This digital upgrade reflects a broader trend of incorporating technology into religious practices, making the process more efficient and accessible.

Two self-service machines, each costing approximately INR 83,000, have already been installed at the temple. This technological enhancement is set to revolutionize the way devotees engage with temple services, marking a significant step forward in the fusion of tradition and modernity.
