K.R Puram police are conducting an intensive interrogation of Dinesh
An aged woman was murdered and found cut into several parts in the K.R Puram region of Bengaluru. The deceased individual Sushilamma was a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker. She originally hailed from the Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka. From the money which she obtained by selling her property, she leased a house in the K.R Puram region of Bengaluru. Sushilamma is survived by 2 daughters and a son. She however did not live with them. Her second daughter was however in the same block as her.
Sushilamma got acquainted with Dinesh during the 2023 Vidhana Sabha election. Since Sushilamma would often travel to other places for a period of 2-3 days, her absence was not felt by her wards. Her murder was uncovered when her body was uncovered in a drum.
The K.R Puram police are conducting an intensive interrogation of Dinesh. He admitted to cutting her body parts. He claims that she slipped in his bathroom and did not recover. His wife and children were reportedly attending an event elsewhere. This is said to have occurred during the afternoon of 24th February. Dinesh supposedly kept Sushilamma’s dead body in his house for one day. He is believed to have cut her body into pieces and placed it in a drum on 25th February at 3:30 PM. He later threw in the drum inside the Avalahalli canal. It is being said that he switched on the light 0ff the corridor in front of his house before carrying out the act. He was apprehended on the basis of CCTV visuals.
Update: Dinesh has reportedly admitted to have murdered Sushilamma. Dinesh suffocated her to death. He had accumulated debts amounting to Rs 30 lakh. He was a navy merchant in Chennai 4 years back. He left his job and built a house in K.R Puram. He is believed to requested Sushilamma for money which is she apparently declined. Dinesh had an eye on her jewellery. He murdered her and purchased the drum by pledging her ear-ring. He is said to have become more active in politics after losing his job and has been identified as a BJP worker.
