    Blast rocks Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru

    Around 4000 people visit cafe on a daily basis

    Blast took place at 1:07 pm when 60 people were inside

Rameshwaram cafe is a popular eatery point in Bengaluru. It is situated at Kundalahalli. On a daily basis 4 to 5,000 people visit it to have breakfast and lunch. At a time, the eatery can host as many as 200 people.

It is to be noted that the eatery abounds with techies. NewsFirst Prime learns that it is techies who are well-versed in Telugu visit it more often. These techies stay in rooms and apartments in Whitefield and surrounding areas.

This afternoon, the mystery blast took place at 1:07 pm when 60 people were inside. The blast took place in the central part of the eatery. As many as five are injured in the blast.

Incidently, all the five work for the same company Micro Chip India Limited.

They have been idenfied as Farooq, Dipanshu and Swarna Narayanappa.  The first two are being treated in general wards, while the third is in ICU. When reports last came in, Bengaluru City Police Commsisioner B Dayanand had rushed to the spot.

Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya put out a post blaming Siddaramaiah.

“Just spoke to Rameshwaram Café founder Sri Nagaraj about the blast in his restaurant. He informed me that the blast occurred because of a bag that was left by a customer and not any cylinder explosion. One of their employees is injured. It’s seems to be a clear case of bomb blast. Bengaluru demands clear answers from CM Siddaramaiah.”
