Now, BMRCL has come up with an ingenious plan to help users. It has introduced what’s called ‘Quick Automatic Ticket Machine’.

How to use the machine

The system is extremely user-friendly. In the initial phase, these machines have been installed in MG Road and Cubbon Park metro stations. Once you enter these stations, you can see the machines installed.

You can enter the codes of the destinations you want to reach. For example, if you want to go to Attiguppe station, you press 101 on the machine, using the list of codes provided by the company.

Once the code is entered, it will ask you for the number of passengers. It can range from 1 to 6. Once you enter the number, it will ask you to pay the amount. And once you do that, it generates a QR code slip. You can use this slip and enter the station, by flashing it before the reader.
