Postmortem reports indicate skull damage

Police are collecting CCTV footage

Sandalwood Actor Darshan Thoogudeepa also referred to as Challenging Star has been arrested by the Bengaluru Police. He is facing charges of physical assault and murder. A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered based on the complaint of an individual named Keval Ram Dhor G. He has been arrested. 

The deceased individual has been identified as Renukaswamy. Renukaswamy hails from Chitradurga. His death is believed to have been caused due to an attack by bouncers. His body was found in a drain on the frontier portion of the Anugraha Apartment in Kamakshipalya. The security guard filed a complaint after having come across a dead body that was unidentified at that moment. 

Severe injuries were noted on his ears and on his head. A postmortem was conducted after which the police collected reports from the doctors. Skull damage has also come to the forefront as a result of the postmortem report.

The police are collecting CCTV visuals from the region. The body was identified at 8 PM on 10th June. Bengaluru Police officials revealed in a press conference that more than 10 people have been arrested in connection to the incident. The murder is said to have occurred on 9th June.
