Damage was caused to a bus registered with the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC). The incident occurred near the Town Hall in Bengaluru. An individual has been arrested in relation to this incident. 

The bus headed to Tiruvannamalai from Bengaluru is reported to have been completely filled. Therefore the bus is believed to have not stopped at the Town Hall Bus Stop as per the norm. This resulted in anger among 2 individuals who caused damage to the bus by throwing a stone on the glass window.

The passengers in the bus are said to have caught an individual named Maharaja in relation to this incident and handed him over to the police. Upon the glass having been broken, the driver steered the bus to the S.G Park Police Station. The passengers had to wait in front of the police station for more than an hour. 

The bus which was scheduled to reach Tiruvannamalai at 4:30 AM was faced with a delay owing to this incident. Maharaja is faced with an interrogation by the police officials at the S.G Park Police Station.
