A crucial verdict pertaining to the former Public Works Department (PWD) Minister of Karnataka from the Janata Dal (Secular) (JD(S)) H.D Revanna will be given by the court on May 20th. On 17th May, the court had reserved judgement pertaining to a plea for a regular bail for H.D Revanna.
It has been 7 days since H.D Revanna left the Parapanna Agrahara jail. He visited many temples over the course of the 7 days. A meeting was held in the Former Prime Minister H.D Devegowa’s house. The meeting was also attended by the former Chief Minister H.D Kumaraswamy and H.D Revanna.
The case pertaining to alleged sexual assault registered in the Holenarasipura Police Station is the case that poses danger to H.D Revanna. The SIT has opposed his plea for a regular bail. Arguments from both sides were heard by the 42nd ACMM (Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate) Court. If Revanna is denied bail he would have to return to jail. He has sought advice from his father.

Prajwal Revanna is a co-accused in the same case. He is however currently absconding in a foreign country. An arrest warrant has been issued against him.
