Bengaluru police too good for these kidnappers!

On February 14, Nagesh, working as an assistant in a production house (Chamundeshwari Production House), was kidnapped in Bengaluru’s Mahalaxmi Layout. The kidnappers had even sought a ransom of Rs 1 crore for the release from Laxmi, the owner of the production house. 

Incidentally, Laxmi had procured a loan of Rs 1 crore for the construction of her house. Privy to this information, her car driver Hemanth, in connivance with his elder brother, hatched a plot to kidnap the victim and demand ransom. His elder brother Srinivas and his gang had planned the kidnap. 

Lakshmi had lodged a police complaint at the Mahalakshmi Layout Police Station. After getting into the thick of action, the police arrested as many as 5 accused today. And when they were subjected to investigation, they confessed to the crime of kidnapping Nagesh. They also revealed that they had to pay humongous loans, for which they had to planned the kidnap.
