March 6th will be the last day in police custody for the 3 accused for allegedly raising pro-Pakistan slogans after the victory of Dr Syed Nasir Hussian in the Rajya Sabha election. The police are conducting a thorough survey of the location wherein the incident unfolded. Videographic footage of this survey is also being taken. The police interrogation will continue until evening. They would later be produced to a court. There is a possibility that the accused may be punished by the court.  

Meanwhile some details have emerged regarding one of the accused Munavar Ahmed. Munawar originally hails from the Davanagere district. One of his brothers works for the Waqf Board. Munawar is a second-line leader in the Indian National Congress (INC). He has been involved in programs and demonstrations conducted by the INC. He has clicked photos with CM Siddaramaiah and INC leader Rahul Gandhi. The Vidhana Soudha police are still conducting investigations. His family has vacated his residence in Bengaluru. This is fearing raids by the police.
