Bengaluru: Flight hovering at low altitude disturbs residents

A few individuals from Bengaluru’s Koramangala have complained of a plane flying at low altitude for the last two days. The aircraft has been identified as a Boeing aircraft and it was reported to have made several rounds over the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) area.

As per news reports, it bore the registration number K7067. It is used for VVIPs like the President, Vice President, and Prime Minister. The reports added that the flight left Delhi at 5:32 pm on April 3, circling around HAL Airport six times before returning at 10:54 pm.

Why the flight? 

Well, there are varied reasons. Some say that it is a routine maintenance or that pilots could be trained. 

Residents irked 

The recurring disturbance prompted numerous complaints from locals, expressing frustration over the disruptive noise caused by the low-flying aircraft. Some residents noted the frequent sightings of the plane over the past two weeks, attributing its presence to training activities conducted at the HAL Airport, which serves both defence and commercial aviation purposes.

As concerns persist, affected residents hope for clarity regarding the purpose behind the aircraft’s unusual maneuvers, seeking relief from the intrusive disruptions to their daily lives.
