During the inauguration, ISRO chairman S Somanath and experts from approximately 10 countries, including representatives from esteemed space agencies such as the European Space Agency, the French space agency CNES, and NASA, were provided with a comprehensive overview of the facility.

“This moment signifies a significant milestone for Digantara as we bolster our capacity to deliver precise and timely space situational data to meet the escalating global demand. Our new facilities will serve as a hub for facilitating international space operations,” reportedly remarked Anirudh Sharma, CEO of Digantara.

Beyond the command center, the headquarters will function as an assembly, integration, and testing facility as Digantara gears up to deploy a constellation of satellites dedicated to space-based surveillance. This constellation aims to address existing data deficiencies from both qualitative and quantitative standpoints.

Digantara is constructing end-to-end infrastructure to tackle the challenges of space operations and situational awareness through its Space-Mission Assurance Platform (Space-MAP).
