, Tests conducted by health department reveal startling facts

While Bengaluru is facing an unprecedented water crisis, Bengalureans are forced to drink water that is contaminated. 

A report in this regard has been submitted to the health department. The details are indeed threatening.

As many as 570 samples were collected ranging from Bengaluru urban, Bengaluru rural, and even BBMP limits. Out of these samples, reports pertaining to 270 samples have been submitted to the department. And out of these 270 samples, 20 samples reveal the presence of ecoli, which may make people contract cholera.

 At the same time, it has also come to light that as many as 70 places in the state have drinking water units that are a misfit. 

In some places, the water samples also had a mixture of urine as well! It is also shocking to note that Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants have also been shut down, only worsening the situation. 

Such reports only reaffirm the terrible state that our people are in. On the one hand, they are facing the massive consequences of water shortage. On the other, they are being forced to endure contaminated and polluted water.
