BJP faced humiliation yesterday: Zameer
Video has been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory
Hussain also hinted at a possible fabrication
The controversy around the alleged “Pakistan Zindabad” slogans being shouted during the celebration of the victory of Syed Nasir Hussain in the Rajya Sabha has reached the Vidhana Sabha. Minister for Housing, Minority Welfare & Waqf in Government Of Karnataka & the Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Chamrajpet Constituency B.Z Zameer Ahmed Khan has now opined on this controversy. “No matter who has raised the slogan, it is wrong. They are traitors. There are no 2 opinions about this. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) does not have any other issue to raise. They are demanding the resignation of Chief Minister (CM) Siddaramaiah. The BJP faced humiliation yesterday. This is why they are protesting,” he said.
Nasir Hussain refuted the allegations. He affirmed that he did not hear any such slogan while he was present at the venue. He stated that “Nasir Saab Zindabad” slogans were raised. He has sent a video to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL). Hussain also hinted at a possible fabrication of the clip or an unknown person joining the group for the celebration.
Reacting to the allegations, Karnataka Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara has assured action against those responsible for the chants. He also said that no one responsible for this would be spared.
