In a recent crackdown in Bengaluru’s Electronics City, CCB authorities raided a rave party and seized various synthetic drugs, including ganja, in a significant operation aimed at curbing drug use. Karnataka Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara addressed the media in city, emphasizing the government's commitment to eradicating drug use from the state. "We have vowed to make the state drug-free," Dr. Parameshwara declared. "Wherever ganja is found, we will raid and seize it. We are working diligently to prevent these substances from entering Karnataka from outside."
The raid not only led to the confiscation of drugs but also allowed authorities to gather critical information on the individuals involved, aiding in broader enforcement efforts.
Dr Parameshwara reiterated the state's proactive stance against drug trafficking and consumption, assuring citizens that stringent measures are being taken to prevent the influx of drugs from other regions.
This operation underscores the state's unwavering resolve to tackle the drug menace and ensure the safety and well-being of its residents. With increased vigilance and a robust action plan, Karnataka aims to become a drug-free state.
