‘I am prepared for any investigation,’ ; DK Shivakumar responds to kidnapping allegations by HD Deve Gowda

Former Prime Minister of India HD Deve Gowda and former Chief Minister of Karnataka HD Kumaraswamy have made an accusation on the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka DK Shivakumar stating that he had a 9-year-old girl kidnapped to accumulate property. HD Deve Gowda also claimed to have documents that serve as proof for this allegation. 

In an interaction with NewsFirst, DK Shivakumar refuted these allegations. “I am prepared for any investigation in this issue. Kindly ask him to initiate investigations in this matter from relevant authorities. I haven’t resorted to such cheap politics in my whole life. The Janata Dal (Secular) (JD(S)) have no chance of winning. What have they done for people? They have allied with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) due to the fear of being irrelevant,” he said.

When asked about his hobbies, DK Shivakumar stated that meeting with different people itself has become a hobby for him. He said that added responsibilities has resulted in him being unable to spend time with his family. He also took pride in the way his children have grown up. He hoped that through their education, they would make a name for themselves among people.
