Bengaluru saw a shocking incident yesterday at 2:30 pm when a speeding goods vehicle lost control and veered off the road, resulting in a dramatic accident on Subrahmanya Nagar Main Road. The vehicle, after climbing the footpath, smashed into a nearby shop. The entire incident was captured on CCTV.

The chaos ensued when the pick-up truck suddenly lost control and careened towards a biker standing on the road. Driver’s efforts to avoid collision went futile as the vehicle continued its trajectory and crashed into the shop.

A man on bike, who was at the scene, suffered a broken leg due to the impact. He was promptly taken to a private hospital for treatment. Fortunately, his injuries were not life-threatening, and he is expected to make a recovery.

Local authorities were quick to respond, and a case has been filed at the Malleshwaram Traffic Police Station. The incident has raised concerns about road safety in the area, urging residents and authorities to take preventive measures to avoid such accidents in the future.
