Previously, PGs in the area offered daily rentals, accommodating transient residents. However, in light of recent events, this practice has been discontinued. Additionally, strict regulations have been implemented, disallowing tenants from bringing in friends and requiring an increase in supervision for new tenants.

To bolster security measures, PG owners are now mandating the submission of identification documents such as Aadhaar cards and address proofs for entry. Furthermore, parental permission is now a prerequisite for prospective tenants, who must provide contact information and home addresses of their parents or guardians.

In response to the rising concerns in Silicon City, PG owners are not only adhering to directives issued by the police department but also taking proactive steps to enhance security. Additional security measures, beyond those recommended by authorities, have been installed by the owners themselves to mitigate any potential threats.
