Bengaluru: IT Department officials knock on the doors of close aide of Zameer Ahmed

The Minister of the Housing Department of Karnataka B.Z Zameer Ahmed Khan was in for a shock as someone believed to be closely affiliated with him was paid a visit by officials of the Income Tax (IT) Department.

IT officials knocked on the doors of the Former Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Venugopal. His house located in J.P Nagar was raided during the early hours of May 2nd. 15 officials had arrived at the spot in 4 Innova cars. The officials arrived through the main gate without causing any disturbance in the neighbourhood. Investigations are ongoing in the location. Documents were examined by the officials of the IT Department.
