A “Jana Spandana” (People’s pulse) program will take place in Bengaluru on January 3rd.  A slogan has been prepared with regard to the program. “Bagilige Bantu Sarkara, Sevege Irali Sahakara” (The Government has come to your doorstep; Let there be assistance for this service) the slogan reads.

Rather than the people having to visit MLAs to resolve their grievances, this program envisions creating a channel of communication between the government and the people with the government initiating the communication for this process.

Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka DK Shivakumar who has also been handed the Bengaluru City Development portfolio will be leading the proceedings in the program. It will begin at 9:30 AM in the Ambedkar Ground on the K.R Puram Main Road.

The complaints of the citizens of Bengaluru and the shortcomings they are facing in the services provided by the government will be assessed in this program. D.K Shivakumar plans on reducing the long queues outside government offices.

Although the program will be held in K.R Puram, the event encompasses the Vidhana Sabha constituencies of K.R Puram as well as Mahadevapura. Officials of the B.D.A, B.E.S.C.O.M, Water Board, B.M.R.C.L, Bengaluru Police, B.M.T.C and the Revenue Department will also be present at the venue.
