In burgeoning instances of man-animal conflict, and wild animals squatting into human habitat, a leopard was found under the wheels of a BMTC bus in Bengaluru, Kengeri.
Even as people spotted the wild animal, they informed the wildlife authorities. They rushed to the spot, rescued it and released it into its natural habitat. It is believed that the animal had escaped from its natural habitat in Turahalli forest.
It is also learnt that the BMTC driver tried feeding the cub, but an angry mother almost pounded on him. However, he was not hurt in the incident.
However, the hunt for the mother leopard is on.
In an incident that spread fear, a leopard was found under the wheels of a BMTC bus in Bengaluru.
It’s believed that the animal escaped from the confines of Turahalli forest. Forest officials immediately rushed to the spot, rescued it and left in the forest.
