Namma Metro trains now commence operations from 5 AM onwards

Exciting news awaits commuters traveling from Majestic to Whitefield on Namma Metro. To address the surge in passenger numbers and alleviate inconvenience during morning peak hours, the metro service on this route now operates every three minutes. This improvement ensures enhanced accessibility and smoother journeys for passengers.

Moreover, there’s a notable increase in metro service frequency between Majestic and Garudacharpalya stations during specific weekday hours, from 8:45 am to 10:20 am. This adjustment caters directly to the needs of morning commuters, offering added convenience during their travels.

The recent connection between Baiyappanahalli and KR Pura has significantly contributed to the rise in passenger demand, prompting numerous requests for increased metro service. In response to this demand, additional metro trains have been introduced during morning rush hours, effective from Monday (Feb 26) onwards.

This enhanced service benefits commuters traveling to Trinity, Indiranagar, Benniganahalli, and KR Pura. This extended service is not available on Saturdays, Sundays and holiday weekdays. Additionally, to accommodate early morning travelers and those connecting to intercity buses, metro trains now commence operations from 5 AM onwards. The first service departs from Majestic Metro station daily at 5 AM, except on Sundays.
