In a shocking incident, a man attacked a youngster who had developed friendship with his girlfriend with a cleaver along with his other friend. The incident occurred on the Bull Temple Road in Bengaluru at 8:30 PM on 28th April.
The man who was attacked is in a critical condition. His right thumb has been cut off. His left forearm has been broken. The victim has been identified as Harshit. He is a B.Com graduate. The assailants have been identified as Shashank and Chandan.
The injured Harshot, picked himself up from the main road and sat on the footpath. He put a cloth over his broken arm and rushed to the hospital. The assailants had wrapped the cleaver in a paper before attacking him.

Harshit was unemployed after having finished his course. He was assisting his father in his flower decoration store. A diagnostic centre was located in the same complex as the store. His friendship developed with a woman who worked in the diagnostic centre.
Shashank was the woman’s boyfriend. He became suspicious and went through their chats. Although there was nothing objectionable, he was enraged and decided to take out his outrage on Harshit.
On 28th April, he attacked Harshit with his friend Chandan at his store after getting drunk. He fled from the spot attacking Harshit.
