In a shocking incident, a man attempted suicide in the Hosahalli Metro Station. The incident occurred at 8:50 PM on 10th June. A youngster jumped in front of the rails just as the train was approaching. This filled all the passengers with terror. They were unable to comprehend why the train stopped even before the station arrived. Reports suggest that noises indicating loud screaming could be heard during this stoppage. The metro officials stepped onto the tracks and helped the youngster get back on his feet.
The person who attempted suicide has been identified as Sagar. 34-year-old Sagar had discontinued his engineering course right in between. He was suffering from depression for a while. He would play football to deal with depression. On June 10th, he left his purse and phone at home before attempting suicide. He has sustained minor injuries on his head. He has been admitted to a private hospital.
