Bengaluru: Man conning 5-star hotels through fake screenshots apprehended by police

    The suspect has been identified as Borada Sudhir

    Sudhir asked a driver in the hotel to drop him at the airport in a BMW car

    Sudhir had made people in Kolkata believe that he was an army officer

This man had a desire to stay in luxury hotels. However he did not have the resources to afford for this. He would regularly visit 5 star hotels. He wouldn’t however pay for his stay and attempt to con the hotel staff. 

The suspect has been identified as Borada Sudhir. He would choose prominent hotels to book rooms. He would inform the hotel staff that he would make the payment after reaching the premises of the hotel. Upon reaching the hotel, he would make a fake payment. He would furnish a fake screenshot. He would have the hotel staff convinced that the amount has been deducted from his account and that there is probably an issue in their server. He had conned a prominent hotel in this manner.

Sudhir had paid Rs 10,000 out of the total due amounting to Rs 80,000 from his side. He promised that he would pay the remaining amount at night. At night, he asked a driver in the hotel to drop him at the airport in a BMW car. The driver said that he would have to contact the hotel staff in order to fulfil the request. It is then that his act was uncovered.

He had made people in Kolkata believe that he was an army officer in a similar fashion. He has been apprehended by the High Grounds Police officials. A case has been filed in the High Grounds Police Station.
