    Woman had arrived in Bengaluru on a tourist visa

A shocking incident has come to the forefront in Bengaluru wherein a woman of foreign origin was found dead under mysterious circumstances. The woman has been identified as Zareena hailing from Uzbekistan. 

The woman had arrived in Bengaluru on a tourist visa 4 days prior to the incident. She resided in a private hotel located close to the Bangalore Development Authority (B.D.A) Overpass. She had booked a room on the second floor of the hotel. However she went outside the range of contact from 13th March evening. The hotel staff thought something was amiss and opened her room with the master key. They recovered the dead body of the woman upon doing so. 

Injury marks were spotted on her body. It is being suspected that she was suffocated to death. Deputy Commissioner of the Police (DCP) for the Bengaluru Central Division Shekhar, DCP of the City Armed Reserves (CAR) Arunamshu Giri and representatives of the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) arrived at the location to carry out investigations. Fingerprints were recovered from the scene of the crime. The dog squad was also brought to the spot. The Sheshadripuram Police scanned CCTV Visuals and the ledger of the hotel. 

An examination of those who walked in and out of the hotel is being carried out. The dead body has been shifted to the Boring Hospital.
