In a shocking incident, a youngster died after falling into a pit dug by the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) in the Kommaghatta circle located in the Kengeri region of Bengaluru. 

3 youngsters were travelling in the same bike when this tragedy unfolded. A worker had died in 2023 during the construction of the very same pipeline. One of the persons in the bike died on the spot after falling into the pit from his bike. The other 2 individuals are in critical condition.

They were shifted to a hospital by those nearby. The Kengeri Police reached the location upon receiving information about the incident to conduct investigations. The incident has resulted in outrage among the localities of the region. They have complained that there was no barricade placed around the pit in order to prevent such mishaps.
