In a shocking incident that has surfaced in Bengaluru, a man was stoned to death in Jayanagar 7th Block. The area falls under the jurisdiction of the Banashankari Police Station. The incident is believed to have occurred during midnight on May 12th. The assailant remains unidentified as of now. The victim is believed to have been in a drunk state. He is reported to have been sleeping on the road at the time the incident unfolded. Another individual supposedly fell over him at this time. This is speculated to have resulted in a fight.

The escalation of this fight might have culminated in the tragedy. The man was apparently pulled aside before being stuck by a rock. The man bled to death at the same spot. Officials of the Banashankari Police rushed to the spot upon being informed of the incident. A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed in relation to this case. Investigations are currently ongoing. The identity of the victim has also not been traced currently.
