Son helped father escape after murder

It's alleged the deceased had illicit affair

She had been killed after being hit with a rod

A few days ago, it was reported that a minor son had surrendered to the KR Puram police after hitting his mother to death, allegedly over the mother not serving him breakfast at the right time. 

The minor had even surrendered to the police, after walking into the station and confessing to the murder. 

As the police took up the investigation, they sent the rod with which he hit the mother for a forensics test. During the examination, it was revealed that the rod had two sets of fingerprints. While one set was that of the father’s (Chandrappa), the second was that of the son. 

Immediately, the police took the father into their custody. Upon questioning him, Chandrappa revealed to the police that his wife Netra had an illicit affair and she was a liquor addict. Additionally, he revealed to the police that she used to desert him and his son for days together. Whenever they sought food, she used to scream at them and unleash hostility. 

So as a mark of revenge, the father and son decided to kill her. After the planned murder, the minor son took it upon himself so that his father would not be arrested. And in order to portray that he had murdered the mother, he deliberately hit her body after she had died. 

The son was of the opinion that, being a minor, he would get some consideration by the courts and he would continue his education. 

He had even advised his father to earn well by the time he would return from jail.
