Bengaluru: Namma Metro services extended until 11:45 pm on January 17 for T-20 match

    Paper tickets for return journeys will be available at all metro stations

    QR code tickets can be purchased at normal rates with a 5% discount

    Only QR tickets, Smart Cards, and Paper tickets will be accepted

Due to the T-20 Cricket match at Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday, January 17, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) will extend Namma Metro services until 11:45 pm departing from the four terminal Metro Stations on both the Purple Line and Green Line.

Additionally, paper tickets for return journeys will be available for purchase at all metro stations starting from 2:00 pm on the match day. These paper tickets are valid for a single journey until the conclusion of the extended services, beginning only at Cubbon Park and MG Road Metro Station, and can be used to travel to any other metro station on the same day of issue from 8:00 pm onwards.

In addition to the Rs. 50 Paper Ticket, QR code tickets can be purchased at normal rates with a 5% discount on the day of the match, and they will be valid throughout the day.

To ensure a hassle-free return journey, the public is encouraged to buy QR tickets in advance via WhatsApp, the Namma Metro App, or Pay TM before the start of the Cricket match. Smart Cards and NCMC Cards can be used as usual.

During the extended hours, only QR tickets, Smart Cards, and Paper tickets will be accepted at Cubbon Park and MG Road metro stations. To avoid crowding at ticket counters, commuters are advised to take advantage of the aforementioned facilities.
